This Year’s First ÁTFOGÓ Professional Event

At the Hungarian Economic Development Agency’s first ÁTFOGÓ professional event of the year, held on March 12, 2026, the focus was on current measures affecting SMEs, newly launched programs, and key development trends for the near future.

At the event, Tamás Fehérváry, CEO of the MGFÜ, welcomed the participants, followed by László Hunyadi, Deputy State Secretary for SME Development at the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), who presented the 2026 plans for SME development and the expected changes. Ákos Csókay, Secretary General of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), presented the MKIK’s business development programs for this year, while Dr. Gergely Balla, Chief Business Development Officer of the MGFÜ, provided information on the Agency’s services launching and being renewed in 2026.
The Q&A session following the presentations also provided an opportunity for substantive professional dialogue.

The event was organized under the priority project GINOP Plusz-1.1.1-22-2022-00001, titled "Providing Targeted Business Development Services for Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises," as part of the Széchenyi Plan Plus program, with support from the European Union.
