The program aims to help Hungarian businesses strengthen their competitiveness through technological, digital, and environmental renewal, providing even more favorable conditions than before for exporting and supplier small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to the most significant changes, the loan amount available can be up to 1 billion forints, the minimum required for asset purchases is reduced to 10%, and the proportion of construction costs can be up to 80%. If the project includes at least 30% digital or renewable energy development, up to 45% of the loan can be converted into a non-repayable grant. The loan program is being expanded to include a new target group: businesses with growth potential. The scheme operates in a so-called “one-stop combined” format: businesses can apply for a 0% interest investment loan at a single location, the MFB Points.
Each project still has 24 months to be implemented, which can be extended by an additional 6 months if justified. The National Champion loan program is available through the MFB Pont Plusz network until December 31, 2026.
