Péter Keller, head of department at the NFK, welcomed the participants, after which Tamás Fehérváry, executive director of the MGFÜ, presented the company’s activities, key projects, and business development initiatives. In his presentation, he also discussed the Generational Transition Program, which offers Hungarian SMEs the opportunity to both preserve the values of their entrepreneurial heritage and harness the potential of new generations.
Olivér Schiffer, head of the International Business Development Group at MGFÜ, then presented the organization’s international projects, explaining how cross-border collaborations create new opportunities for the development of domestic businesses and strengthen their competitiveness.
At the end of the meeting, representatives from two businesses shared their practical experiences regarding generational succession in separate presentations. Afterwards, Jozefina Maróti and Boglárka Maróti, representing Maróti Book Trading and Publishing Ltd., together with Ildikó Hajdu-Németh, representing AMCO Packaging Technology and Consulting Ltd., presented the challenges, experiences, and opportunities associated with generational succession in a roundtable discussion.
