Pioneers into Practice programme’s aim is to boost the low carbon economy and shape the European economy.
Pioneers into Practice programme’s aim is to boost the low carbon economy and shape the European economy. Operating in fifteen European locations, the Pioneers programme runs from May through to November and consists of a 4-6 weeks placement (domestic or international), bespoke transitions thinking & systems innovation mentoring delivered through a structured workshop programme and online training. Professionals on low carbon economy from education, research, enterprise and administration put in practice their expertise in the territory to create new products and services on the field of the climate change.
How does it work?
Pioneers spend 4-6 weeks on international or domestic placement. Our aim is to let participants step out of their comfort zone and to let them use and broaden their knowledge in a new environment. Besides the work on placement, pioneers can take part in workshops at home and online courses. Participation is supported by 2000€ of EU budget.
Hosts can welcome domestic or international experts in October-November for 4-6 weeks without any cost and they are able to let them participate in solving challenges in their own projects connected to climate change.
