The general aim of the REPROWIS – Reducing Production Waste by Industrial Symbiosis project is the reduction of production waste and the promotion of the innovative techniques of waste management. The specific objectives of the project are

• the compilation, writing of studies in connection how much the ideas of cleaner production and industrial ecology are known and spread among SMEs in some of the border counties of Slovakia and Hungary

• the creation of plans for innovative industrial symbiotic actions (waste management) for the reduction of production waste among SMEs

• the organization of seminars and conferences in the topic of industrial symbiosis and industrial ecology
• Introduction and promotion of an innovative approach to reduce the amount of raw materials, waste and emissions by industrial symbiosis.
