ESG is a set of sustainability criteria that assesses the environmental, social and governance impacts and factors of a business from a sustainability perspective.
In international practice it refers to a system of economic information designed to enable the activities of individual economic entities to be compared and objectively assessed from a sustainability perspective.

The Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MGFÜ) is committed to support domestic enterprises in meeting the requirements, introducing and applying the necessary methodologies. We believe that sustainability, social responsibility and transparent governance are key to ensuring competitiveness and long-term sustainability.

We help businesses reduce their environmental footprint, increase their social responsibility and improve their governance practices, based on ESG principles. In addition to managing the accreditation process for educational institutions we provide tailor-made ESG consultancy trainings and implement programmes that help domestic businesses to be winners with successful ESG-based strategies in the dynamically changing future.
