SME Energy Cost and Investment Support Programme 2022-2023


This support programme help businesses in the manufacturing and tourism sectors to subsidise their energy costs (electricity, natural gas and other type of heating) and optionally provide additional support for energy efficiency investments. The Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MFÜ) has taken over the management of the programme from NFFKÜ Zrt.

What type of grants are available?

Support for increased energy costs: Non-repayable direct aid to cover the monthly energy cost increase of manufacturing enterprises.

Additional grant for energy efficiency investments: In order to carry out energy efficiency investments businesses can apply for a non-repayable grant of up to 15 percent of the own contribution to the part of the energy efficiency investment covered by the loan.

 

Who can apply for funding?

SMEs operating in the manufacturing sector as from 31 December 2021 or which derive most of their net sales in 2021 from manufacturing activities.

In additionally those whose principal activity as of 31 December 2021 is accommodation and food service activities or those whose largest part of their net turnover in 2021 is derived from accommodation and food service activities.
