The project is being implemented in Carnia (Italy), Lomza (Poland), Northern Hungary, the Prešov region (Slovakia), and the Savinjska region (Slovenia). Its primary focus is on the green and digital transition, which presents both opportunities and challenges for peripheral regions. The program aims to strengthen social economy actors and support them in developing innovative solutions tailored to local needs.
Through capacity-building programs and mentoring, the ResilienCE project enhances the digital and green skills of social enterprises. This enables them to create concrete, market-ready solutions that contribute to strengthening local economies and improving the quality of life in their communities.
A key element of the initiative is international cooperation and bottom-up partnerships. This ensures that developments are based on real local needs and deliver sustainable, long-term results. As part of the project, ResilienceLabs will be established to foster a collaborative and resilient ecosystem that not only addresses current challenges but also lays the foundation for long-term economic and social development in disadvantaged regions.
The official kick-off meeting of the project took place on 25–26 February 2026 in Udine, Italy, where project partners reviewed the framework, objectives, and main directions of implementation.
Participation in the ResilienCE project provides an opportunity for the Hungarian Economic Development Agency to gain new methods, good practices, and professional experience through international cooperation, contributing to the competitiveness of Hungarian SMEs. The project places special emphasis on developing green and digital competencies, which are essential for the economy of the future.
