The WE.CIRCULAR project aims to provide professional support and present good practices of women entrepreneurs, who apply the circular economy model approach in their daily organizational operations. Our project also helps to promote, provide training and add policy advice to SMEs planning to adapt the circular economy model. To increase the competitiveness of domestic SMEs participating in the project, enterprises will also have the opportunity to learn and to adapt international good practices from the Danube Region. The project aims to achieve this goal through integrated policy support and innovative practices.
The project implementation will start with the involvement of experts and interested SMEs, and following the identification of actual problems and challenges, the enterprises will be able to participate in various targeted innovation training programs.
MGFÜ's tasks include the involvement of interested SMEs in the project, accelerating the transition of women entrepreneurs to circular economy, by introducing circular business models, participating in setting up innovation contests and establishing a Policy Learning Centre.
The project is a collaboration of regional development agencies, sectoral bodies and business support organizations from twelve countries.
The project is founded by the Danube Transnational Program, with the support of the European Regional Development Fund, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Hungary.
